Do you need to renew or reapply?

  1. Was your recent passport book and/or card issued when you were 16 years old or older?
  2. Can you submit your recent passport book and/or card with your application?
  3. Was your recent passport book and/or card issued within the last 15 years?
  4. Your recent passport book and/or card was NOT damaged (aside from normal wear and tear) and was not reported lost or stolen?
  5. Your recent passport book and/or card did not have limitations?
  6. Your name has NOT changed since your recent passport book and/or card?
  • If so are you able to submit legal documentation showing your name change?

If you answered yes to ALL of these questions, you can renew your passport through the mail, no appointment in necessary.

We can take photos for you, no appointment needed just walk-in during our business hours.

If you answered no to any of the questions above, you would be reapplying and would need to complete the DS-11 Form and schedule an appointment. See our Adult passport page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long will the passport be valid?
A: Adult passports are valid for 10 years.

Q: How much is a passport book and/or card renewal?
A: Renewed passports are the same cost as reapplying. $130 for the book, $30 for the card, $160 for both. 

Q: Can I renew my passport at your office?
A: Depends, if your passport has been reported lost, stolen, if it’s been damage, or it has been more than 15 years from the date it was issued, or you got it when you 15 years old or younger. Yes.

Or if the above does not apply to you, your renewal is done by mail.

Q: Can I take my photo at your facility?  
A: Yes

Q: Can I renew my child's passport? 
A:
Passports that were obtained when they were 15 years old or younger have to reapply at a passport acceptance facility.
