Welcome to New Mexico State University's Passport Acceptance Facility.Our facility is open to the public on an appointment only basis.

We are located at 1780 E. University Avenue. Las Cruces, NM 88003 (next to the Pan American Center, see map) room 8.

Current processing time:

This time is based on the moment they receive your passport application, not when the acceptance agent receives it.

Expedite 2-3 weeks

Routine 4-6 weeks

 

APPLICATION STATUS

It may take up to 2 weeks from the day you apply until your application status is "In Process"

TRAVELING IN 2 WEEKS?

Are you traveling for an emergency or in 14 days or less? Contact the National Passport Information Center. You may be required to provide proof of travel and pay additional fees.

Follow us on Instagram, through out the year we will post where we will be and a code word. First 10 people (not restricted to just students) to come up to us and tell us the code word and show us they follow us on Instagram will get their very own foam hat.

Hours of Operation. We are closed on Sunday. Open on Monday through Friday from 7 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.  Closed on Saturdays.

We are by appointment only and available for just walk-in photos from 8 am - 3pm.

I do ask that if I have someone in my office, photo walk-ins wait in the hall until we are done.
