This time is based on the moment they receive your passport application, not when the acceptance agent receives it.

Expedite 2-3 weeks

Routine 6-8 weeks

 

APPLICATION STATUS

It may take up to 2 weeks from the day you apply until your application status is "In Process"

TRAVELING IN 2 WEEKS?

Are you traveling for an emergency or in 14 days or less? Contact the National Passport Information Center. You may be required to provide proof of travel and pay additional fees.

Hours of Operation. We are closed on Sunday. Open on Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 11:30 am and from 1:30 pm to 5 pm. We are open Friday from 8 am to 10 am and from 12 pm to 5 pm. Closed on Saturdays.
